Who's the 2004 Stick Trick Wizard

What A Summer! I took to the road with the first ever Jim Muhlfelder Memorial Stick Trick Competition hosted by Suzanne Eyler, Wally and myself. Jim was the caring father of deBeer lacrosse whose passion for the game helped to build an internationally respected brand until his sudden passing this year. Jim's spirit will be celebrated this summer at six youth tournaments as deBeer will be awarding a $500 shopping spree for the boy and girl who are reigned " 2004 Stick Trick Wizard." Three age divisions (U12, U15, and U18) will compete for prizes. First place at each venue will receive either a Torque or an Impulse fully pimped out with an dB803 shaft, the "lightest on the market."

Contestants had 25 seconds and 7 balls to impress the judges with their routine of stick tricks and fancy shots. Participants were given a score based on their degree of difficulty, creativity, and overall enthusiasm. The panel of judges generated a score with the top 3 contestants winning prizes.









Scoring

Scoring was based on: 1) Degree of difficulty; 2) Creativity; and 3) Overall enthusiasm

Points deducted for dropped ball, missed shot, foul language, etc.


Prizes

1st Prize won a Strung head and t-shirt while second and third got visors, t-shirts and other great lax stuff! The overall Summer Champion received a $500 deBeer shopping spree!
