“This is the beginning of something awesome,” said Gordon Boone, partner and general manager of the Bayhawks. “It’s history in the making. I’m proud of the city of Baltimore for coming out and supporting us.”

The Bayhawks were lead by attackman Tom Marechek, who earned Bud Light MVP honors with six goals and two assists. Attackman Dan Denihan had four goals and two assists and goalie Greg Cattrano anchored the defense with 16 saves.
