The 3rd Florida Lacrosse Classic, an exclusively Grandmaster Lacrosse tournament., was held January 16-18 in Weston, Florida. 13 Grandmaster teams, made up of players 45 and older, competed this year. That's up from 10 last year. One of the new teams, the Crease Monkeys, sliced through its competition like a hot knife through butter, routing Touch of Grey, the USA Stars, Ohio Wesleyan and the host FROGS team, the Florida Real Old Guys. The Monkeys' offense was unstoppable, tallying 63 goals in 4 games, while their defense allowed only 18 goals.
