WHY THE JUDGING TOOK SO DARN LONG:

As you can see we have some of the best dye jobs in this year's competition that we've ever had. We argued over everything from the winner to the honorable mentions. The truth is Ian's Sketchy Oreo would have taken both the 1st place award and the STX award if it had not been for the great argument behind the precision and perfection of Jeremiah's intricate take on argyle in his Country Club Clutch head. He even pulled it off twice as you can see. He wins a STX Proton Power on a ScTi! While Ian's Sketchy Oreo is only a one color dye, it is so unique and so hard to do well, that this dye was deemed his best, but you can see when looking through all the entrants that my man can do any dye very well. He takes home a STX Viper2 on Vanadium Grip shaft! These two dye jobs fought with another three or four for the top spots but on every vote, Sketchy Oreo tied for first, sometimes with Counry Club Clutch and sometimes with Sam's Wicker Job or Ian's View, who both lost on the final vote. Great job Sam! We'll get back to Ian later. Congratulations to both winners, Ian and Jeremiah for outstanding performances here and everyone else for an amazing effort!

We were blown away by how good the field was this year. We congratulate all the entrants, but especially those listed below for honorable mention. You were among the best and were just barely beaten by two of the best amateur dyes we've ever seen. Special honors to Ian for winning a first prize and THREE honorable mentions!
