The Fairfield University men's lacrosse team improved its record to 2-4
on the season and 1-0 in the MAAC with an 18-8 victory over Siena
College on 3/28. The Stags were led by senior tri-captain Matt
Callaghan who scored four goals and had five assists on the day.
Fairfield goalies Tom Brandel and Josh Olsen combined for 13 saves in
the contest. The Stags opened up a 9-5 halftime lead with five goals in
the third period and outscored the Saints 9-3 in the second half to earn
the victory. Fairfield continued its streak of never having lost a MAAC
contest in three seasons.
