We have a small group of lacrosse players here in Panama. Many of them are part of the
military and some civilians like myself who were introduced to lacrosse in High School and College.
We went up to the Mardi Gras tournament in '96 and '97 with a group of
people from Panama and hooked up to groups of people up there. Had a great
time and played lacrosse to boot.
We have been trying to get kids excited about lax here but it is difficult, due
to lack of equipment and visibility of the game. "No one" knows what
lacrosse is except for those who have played it.
